Abstract

PURPOSE: A center pin for an electrochemical device, an electrode assembly using the center pin, and an electrochemical device containing the electrode assembly are provided to improve the safety of an electrochemical device using the center pin in case of abnormal high temperature or overcharge by adding a safety improving material into the empty space of a center pin. CONSTITUTION: A center pin comprises a hollow pipe(10); a first member(20) which comprises a polymer and seals the one end of the hollow pipe; and a second member(30) which comprises a polymer or a metal and seals the other end of the hollow pipe. Preferably the first member or both the first member and the second member are molten at a temperature higher than the normal operation temperature of a device using the center pin, or a voltage more of 4.3 V. Preferably the hollow pipe contains a material capable of improving the safety of a device at the empty space. ©KIPO 2008

본 발명은 중공 통형의 관; 고분자로 이루어지며 상기 중공 통형의 관의 한쪽 끝을 밀폐하는 제1부재; 및 고분자 또는 금속으로 이루어지며 상기 중공 통형의 관의 나머지 한쪽 끝을 밀폐하는 제2부재를 포함하는 전기화학소자용 센터핀에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 중공 통형의 관 2개 이상이 고분자에 의해 상하로 연결된 관; 상기 상하로 연결된 관의 한쪽 끝을 밀폐하는 제3부재; 및 상기 상하로 연결된 관의 나머지 한쪽 끝을 밀폐하는 제4부재를 포함하는 전기화학소자용 센터핀에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 표면에 1이상의 개구부를 가지며, 양쪽 끝이 밀폐된 중공 통형의 관; 및 상기 개구부를 밀폐하는 고분자부재를 포함하는 전기화학소자용 센터핀에 관한 것이다.
