Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of suppressing lowering of a light amount of fluorescent light radiated with respect to an irradiation region, while suppressing irradiation of laser beams to the irradiation region more surely.

SOLUTION: A light emitting device 10 includes a laser beam source 20, a control unit 30, a fluorescent body 50, a substrate 70, and a detection unit 100. On the substrate 70, a plurality of first micro-mirrors 72 are formed on one surface 70a for reflecting the fluorescent light to an irradiation region. The detection unit 100 detects laser beams. The control unit 30, in the case where the detection unit 100 has detected the laser beams, stops emission of the laser beams by the laser beam source 20. On the substrate 70, a second micro-mirror 74 is formed on the one surface 70a arranged on an optical axis of the laser beam source 20 and for reflecting the laser beams to the detection unit 100. The detection unit 100 is arranged being deviated from a first path of the fluorescent light between the fluorescent body 50 and the first micro-mirror 72, and a second path of the fluorescent light between the first micro-mirror 72 and the irradiation region.

【課題】照射領域へのレーザ光の照射をより確実に抑制しつつ、照射領域に対して照射される蛍光の光量が低下するのを抑制することができる発光装置を提供する。
【解決手段】発光装置10は、レーザ光源20、制御部30、蛍光体50、基板70、検出部100を備えている。基板70には、蛍光を照射領域へ反射する第1マイクロミラー72が一面70a上に複数形成されている。検出部100は、レーザ光を検出する。制御部30は、検出部100がレーザ光を検出した場合に、レーザ光源20によるレーザ光の出射を停止する。基板70には、レーザ光源20の光軸上に配置されるとともに検出部100にレーザ光を反射する第2マイクロミラー74が一面70a上に形成されている。検出部100は、蛍光体50と第1マイクロミラー72との間における蛍光の第1経路、及び、第1マイクロミラー72と照射領域との間における蛍光の第2経路から外れて配置されている。
