Abstract
(EN)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator which cools a lighting device by utilizing a blast of a fan 4 without providing a heat radiation member.

SOLUTION: An engine part 1, which mixes ions with suctioned air and blows the air from the upper side, has an ion generator 3 for generating the ions and a fan 4. An enclosure 2 having air permeability and light transmissivity holds the engine part 1 in a hanging manner. An air outlet 11 is formed at an upper part of the engine part 1 and a suction port 10 is formed at a lower part. A lighting device 5 is disposed in flow of air generated in the enclosure 2 by driving of the fan 4 at the upstream side of the suction port 10.
