(EN) PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet in which material and processing cost of a spool and a support member which support a coil are reduced.
SOLUTION: The superconducting magnet includes a first coil group as a main coil 2 for magnetic field generation and a second coil group as a shield coil 3 which is arranged coaxially with the first coil group and generates a magnetic field in the opposite direction from that of the first coil group to cancel a magnetic field leaking to the outside. In the superconducting magnet, the second coil group is arranged at a position in an axial direction such that axial electromagnetic force which the second coil group receives from the first coil group and axial electromagnetic force which the second coil group generate are balanced and cancel each other.

【解決手段】磁場発生用主コイル2である第1のコイル群と、前記第1のコイル群と同軸に配置され前記第1のコイル群と逆方向の磁場を発生し、外部に漏洩する磁場を打ち消すシールドコイル3である第2のコイル群とを備える超電導マグネットにおいて、前記第2のコイル群の軸方向の配置は、前記第2のコイル群が前記第1のコイル群から受ける軸方向の電磁力と、前記第2のコイル群が発生する軸方向の電磁力とが均衡し相殺する位置である。
