PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating a colored transparent display comprising a glass plate or glass ceramic plate.

SOLUTION: A transparent coating 4 used for the display part comprising the glass plate or the glass ceramic plate 1 on which the full surface coating is applied is prepared from a sol/gel coating material containing alkyl silicate and a binder, is arranged in a part of a nontransparent surface full coating 2 wherein there is a coating untreated part and is formed so that the coating formed from the binder by a heat treatment is crosslinked through a reactive group of the alkyl silicate and an organic non-hydrolyzable group directly bonded with silicon is contained in the coating.

【課題】ガラス板又はガラスセラミックス板から成る着色透明ディスプレイコーティングの方法を提供する。
【解決手段】表面全面コーティングが施されたガラス板あるいはガラスセラミックス板1から成るディスプレイ部に用いられる透明コーティング4を、該透明コーティング4がアルキルシリケートを結合剤として含むゾル・ゲル塗料から作製され、該透明コーティング4がコーティング無処理部分がある非透明表面全面コーティング2の一部中に配置され、及び熱処理によって結合剤から形成されるコーティングがアルキルシリケートの反応基を介して架橋され、かつ該コーティングにシリコンと直接結合した有機非加水分解性基が含まれるように作製する。
