PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent composite composition which has a small coefficient of linear expansion, excels in transparency, heat resistance, and solvent resistance, and can replace glass as an optical sheet for liquid crystal display elements and organic EL display elements.

SOLUTION: The transparent composite composition comprises a transparent resin (a) having a glass transition temperature of 150C and an inorganic filler (b) having a sphere equivalent diameter of 0.1-2 mm, and the transparent resin (a) is a copolymer to be obtained from one or more reactive monomers having a refractive index after curing of lower than the refractive index of the inorganic filler (b) and one or more reactive monomers having a refractive index after curing of higher than the refractive index of the inorganic filler (b).

【課題】線膨張係数が小さく、透明性、耐熱性、耐溶剤性に優れ、液晶表示素子や有機EL表示素子用の光学シートなどとしてガラスに代替可能な透明複合体組成物を提供する。
【解決手段】ガラス転移温度が150℃以上である透明樹脂(a)及び球相当直径が0.1〜2mmである無機フィラー(b)よりなる透明複合体組成物であって、透明樹脂(a)は、架橋後の屈折率が無機フィラー(b)よりも低い1種以上の反応性モノマーと、無機フィラー(b)よりも高い1種以上の反応性モノマーから得られる共重合体である透明複合体組成物を提供する。
