Abstract:
(EN) PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system capable of supplying the fuel to a fuel injection valve with a stable fuel pressure.

SOLUTION: The fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine is equipped with a fuel tank and a low pressure pump to supply the fuel in the tank to the fuel injection valve, in which a diaphragm damper having an undulate section shape is installed in a position where the fuel makes contact. A high pressure fuel supply pump has a pump body equipped with a pressurizing chamber to pressurize the fuel, a plunger to feed by pressure the fuel inside the pressurizing chamber, a suction valve installed at the fuel inlet to the pressurizing chamber, a discharge valve installed at the fuel outlet from the pressurizing chamber, and a low pressure chamber provided upstream of the suction valve, wherein a mechanism to reduce the pulsation in the fuel pressure is installed in a part of the low pressure chamber, while a fuel pressure sensor to measure the fuel pressure is installed in the neighborhood of the mechanism to reduce the pulsation.

【課題】本発明の目的は、より安定した燃圧で燃料噴射
弁に燃料を供給することができる燃料供給システムを提
供することである。


【解決手段】燃料タンク,燃料タンク内の燃料を燃料噴
射弁に供給する低圧ポンプを備えた内燃機関の燃料供給
システムにおいて、断面形状が波形状を持つダイヤフラ
ム式ダンパを燃料が接する位置に備える。
また、燃料を
加圧する加圧室と、前記加圧室の内部で燃料を圧送する
プランジャと、前記加圧室の燃料入口に設けられた吸入
弁と、前記加圧室の燃料出口に設けられた吐出弁と、前
記吸入弁の上流側に設けられた低圧室とを有するポンプ
本体を備えた高圧燃料供給ポンプにおいて、前記吸入弁
の上流側に設けられた低圧室の一部に燃料圧力脈動を低
減する機構を配し、該燃料圧力脈動を低減する機構の近
傍に燃料圧力を測定するための燃圧センサーを装着し
た。
