SOLUTION: Supporting sheets 1 such as prepreg are integrally formed by pressing and heating with a felt or cloth heating sheet 2 interposed therebetween, thus the thickness of a flexible heating element is almost the same as the supporting sheets themselves and is very thin. A band-shaped electrode 3 is pressed and heated together with the heating sheet 2, and the band-shaped electrode 3 is integrally formed with the supporting sheet 1, thus an electrical connection between the band-shaped electrode 3 and the heating sheet 2 is secured. The supporting sheet 1 protects the flexible heating element from bending and local pressure, and thus generation of excessive local heating can be prevented and the durability can be enhanced.

【課題】 屈曲や局部的な圧力による局部的な過加熱発
生を防止して耐久性を高めると共に火災発生の危険性を
回避することができ、また、給電性能の安定性を確保
し、それにより、製品歩留りを向上させることができる
フレキシブル発熱体を提供する。

【解決手段】 フェルト状または布状の発熱シートを介
在したプリプレグ等の支持シートを加圧加熱成形するこ
とにより相互に一体化しているため、その厚さは支持シ
ートの厚さと同程度のものでしかなく、非常に薄く形成
できる。
帯状電極は、発熱シートと共に加圧加熱成形さ
れて支持シートと一体化されているため、帯状電極と発
熱シートとの間の電気的接続を確実に行わせることがで
きる。
屈曲や局部的な加圧に対しては支持シートにより
保護されており、局部的な過加熱の発生を防止できかつ
耐久性を高めることができる。
