(EN) The composite material consists of a substrate (11) and an insulating layer (12). The substrate has a lower softening or melting temperature than the insulating layer. The two layers are fused to each other in certain regions (16, 17, 18). To produce the composite material, substrate and insulating layer are laid one on top of the other. The substrate (11) is fused onto the insulating layer (12) by a heat and pressure treatment in certain areas. With suitable selection of the materials for the layers, for example plastic film for the substrate (11) and mica paper for the insulation layer (12), a composite material is obtained which is particularly well suited for being used by machine and, apart from excellent mechanical properties, also permits optimum impregnation with impregnating resin.

L'invention concerne un matériau composite.

Le matériau composite de l'invention comprend une couche support 11 constituée d'une feuille ou d'un voile de matière synthétique, ainsi qu'une couche isolante 12 constituée d'un papier mica. La couche 11 a une température de ramollissement ou de fusion inférieure à celle de la couche 12. Les deux couches sont fusionnées ensemble par zones 16, 17, 18. Le matériau composite de l'invention est utilisé pour former un enroulement isolant autour de conducteurs électriques destinés à des machines électriques.
