Abstract
(EN)
An exhaust gas recirculation cooler for internal combustion engines and a method of forming same. One or more cooler tubes incorporate a flexible section, comprised of one or more integrally formed convolutions, with a tube and fin architecture. The exhaust gas recirculation cooler provides thermal compensation, on a per-tube basis, with the flexible sections of the one or more cooler tubes individually displacing upon the thermal expansion of any of the respective tubes.

Refroidisseur à recirculation de gaz d'échappement pour moteurs à combustion interne et son procédé de formation. Un ou plusieurs tubes de refroidisseur renferment une section flexible, composée d'une ou de plusieurs convolutions formées d'un seul tenant, avec une architecture à tubes et ailettes. Le refroidisseur à recirculation de gaz d'échappement permet une compensation thermique, sur une base par tube, avec les sections flexibles du ou des tubes de refroidisseur se déplaçant individuellement lors de la dilatation thermique de l'un quelconque des tubes respectifs.
