A solar cell module comprises a solar cell element (1b, 1d), a front surface member (2b, 2d) provided at the light receiving surface side of the solar cell element (1b, 1d), and a back surface member (3b, 3d) provided at the back surface side of the solar cell element (1b, 1d), wherein the front surface member (2b, 2d) and the back surface member (3b, 3d) are adjoined in a releasable state. A photocatalyst (82) is provided at least on a face of the front surface member (2b, 2d) opposed to the solar cell element (1b, 1d). The front surface member (2b, 2d) and the back surface member (3b, 3d) are not adhered to the solar cell element (1b, 1d) such that the solar cell element (1b, 1d), the front surface member (2b, 2d) and the back surface member (3b, 3d) can be separated without leaving residue of any of the front surface member (2b, 2d) or the back surface member (3b, 3d) on the solar cell element (1b, 1d).
