Abstract

The present invention provides a new type of thin-film capacitor which is insensitive to breakdown voltages during its mounting on a printed circuit board. Said capacitor comprises an insulating substrate (21) having at least two internal electrode layers (24, 25) which are mutually separated by means of a dielectric layer. The substrate also comprises two end contacts (28, 29) each of which are electroconductively connected to one of said internal electrode layers (24, 25). According to the invention, the capacitor also comprises breakable electrically conductive means (23), preferably formed as a metal layer, which means (23) are electrically connected to said end contacts. The presence of said breakable electrically conductive means between said end contacts (28, 29) prevents damage due to electrical storage which can arise during the mounting of the capacitor on a printed circuit board.

Cette invention a trait à un nouveau type de condensateur à couche mince, insensible aux tensions de claquage lors de son montage sur une carte à circuit imprimé. Ce condensateur comprend un substrat isolant (21) pourvu d'au moins deux couches internes (24, 25), formant électrode, séparées l'une de l'autre par une couche diélectrique. Le substrat comporte également deux contacts d'extrémité (28, 29) connectés, chacun, à l'une des couches électrode (24, 25). Ce condensateur est également pourvu d'un dispositif conducteur (23) susceptible de se rompre, se présentant sous l'aspect d'une couche métallique, et raccordé au contacts d'extrémité. La présence de ce dispositif (23) entre les contacts d'extrémité (28, 29) empêche que l'électricité s'emmagasinant lors du montage du condensateur sur la carte à circuit imprimé n'occasionne des dégâts.
