The embodiment of the invention relates to a method for transmitting data resources in an Internet of Things system. The method comprises the following steps: transmitting a request message to a server by a client, wherein the request message comprises a first timestamp option, and the first timestamp option comprises one cut-off time value used for indicating the server to return a response message to the client within the specified time limit of the cut-off time value; and receiving the response message transmitted by the server by the client before the time specified by the cut-off time is overtime. According to the method for transmitting the data resources in the Internet of Things system provided by the invention, response time is indicated to the server when the client requests the resources; if the client does not receive the response of the server within the specified response time, the client can disconnect the connection between the server, and there is no need to maintain a long connection with the server for a long wait for the server to respond for a long time, thereby saving network resources and power consumption.

本发明实施例涉及一种在物联网系统中数据资源的传输方法,包括:客户端向服务器发送的请求消息,所述请求消息中包含第一时间戳选项,所述第一时间戳选项包含一个截止时间值,用于指示所述服务器在所述截止时间值指定的时间内向所述客户端返回响应消息;所述客户端在所述截止时间指示的时间超时之前,接收所述服务器发送的响应消息。该方法由客户端在请求资源时向服务器指示响应时间,如果客户端未在指定响应时间内收到服务器的响应,客户端可以断开与服务器之间的连接,不需要为等待服务器响应长时间与服务器保持长连接,节省网络资源和功率消耗。
