Abstract
(EN)
A method of performing uplink detection reference signal transmission, and a wireless transmission/reception unit are provided. The method includes receiving WTRU specific configuration of a WTRU-specific SRS subframe for performing SRS transmission; receiving a trigger from the base station subframe to transmit the SRS at a plurality of antenna ports; selecting a first subframe after the subframes within which the triggering is received and after at least four subframes within the subframes within which the triggering is received and, the first subframe being a WTRU Specific subfram; determining whether the sum of the SRS transmission power exceeds the predetermined maximum power value in at least one serving cell; In the case where the sum of the SRS transmission powers exceeds the predetermined maximum power value within the at least one serving cell, scaling the SRS transmission power proportionally to satisfy the predetermined maximum power value; transmitting the SRS in the selected first subframe according to the scaled SRS transmission power. Methods for handling collisions between SRS and physical channels are presented.
