Abstract
(EN) Disclosed herein is a method, an Access Point (AP) device for creating a closed Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) hotspot network, and a method, a station device for connecting to the closed Wi-Fi hotspot network. The AP device receives a first input for creating the closed Wi-Fi hotspot network, transmits an encryption key to the station device, which is present within a predefined region, over an in-band communication medium or an out-of-band communication medium, and creates the closed Wi-Fi hotspot network by communicating management frames in cipher text with the station device. The station device receives the encryption key and the management frames from the AP device; and transmits a connection request to the AP device for connecting to the closed Wi-Fi hotspot network. The communication of the management frames in the cipher text provides improved security against attacks associated with Wi-Fi hotspot networks.
(FR) Sont divulgués dans la présente invention un procédé, un dispositif de point d'accès (AP) pour la création d'un réseau de point d'accès Wi-Fi fermé, et un procédé, un dispositif de station pour la connexion au réseau de point d'accès Wi-Fi fermé. Le dispositif AP reçoit une première entrée pour créer le réseau de point d'accès Wi-Fi fermé, transmet une clé de chiffrement au dispositif de station, qui est présent dans une région prédéfinie, sur un support de communication en bande ou un support de communication hors bande, et crée le réseau de point d'accès Wi-Fi fermé en communiquant des trames de gestion dans un texte chiffré avec le dispositif de station. Le dispositif de station reçoit la clé de chiffrement et les trames de gestion en provenance du dispositif AP ; et transmet une requête de connexion au dispositif AP pour se connecter au réseau de point d'accès Wi-Fi fermé. La communication des trames de gestion dans le texte chiffré fournit une sécurité améliorée contre des attaques associées à des réseaux de point d'accès Wi-Fi.
