Abstract
(EN) An apparatus and method for consumption of at least one compound from a fluid are disclosed. A method, comprising: providing processed algae for subsequent use in accelerated consumption of at least one compound from a fluid to be treated by exposing algae to a processing fluid depleted in the at least one compound to be consumed by the algae in a processing vessel; adding said processed algae to a contact receptacle containing said fluid to be treated to reduce a concentration of said at least one compound from said fluid to be treated; and recirculating at least a portion of said algae and said processing fluid from said contact receptacle to said processing vessel. This makes the processed algae better adapted to reduce the amount or concentration of the at least one compound within the fluid more quickly than is possible with unprocessed algae.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour la consommation d'au moins un composé à partir d'un fluide. L'invention concerne également un procédé, comprenant : la fourniture d'algues traitées pour une utilisation ultérieure dans la consommation accélérée d'au moins un composé provenant d'un fluide à traiter en exposant les algues à un fluide de traitement appauvri en au moins un composé à consommer par les algues dans un récipient de traitement ; l'ajout desdites algues traitées à un réceptacle de contact contenant ledit fluide à traiter pour réduire une concentration dudit au moins un composé provenant dudit fluide à traiter ; et la recirculation d'au moins une partie desdites algues et dudit fluide de traitement dudit réceptacle de contact audit récipient de traitement. Les algues traitées sont ainsi mieux adaptées pour réduire la quantité ou la concentration d'au moins un composé dans le fluide plus rapidement que ce qui est possible avec des algues non traitées.
