Abstract
(EN) Process for synthesis of ammonia wherein the synthesis of ammonia is performed in a high-pressure synthesis loop (101) which is partially fed with green hydrogen (26) produced from a renewable energy source and hydrogen recovered from a purge stream (21) of the loop is stored in a hydrogen storage (103) to compensate for temporary lack of the green hydrogen when the renewable energy source is not fully available.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de synthèse d'ammoniac dans lequel la synthèse d'ammoniac est effectuée dans une boucle de synthèse haute pression (101) qui est partiellement alimentée en hydrogène vert (26) produit à partir d'une source d'énergie renouvelable et de l'hydrogène récupéré à partir d'un flux de purge (21) de la boucle est stocké dans un stockage d'hydrogène (103) pour compenser un manque temporaire de l'hydrogène vert lorsque la source d'énergie renouvelable n'est pas complètement disponible.
