Abstract
(EN) According to a first aspect, examples provide a method of operating a first communication node (CN) wherein the first CN is configured for controlling a first coverage enhancing device (CED) and a second CED, wherein the first CED and the second CED are reconfigurable to provide multiple spatial filterings, each one of the multiple spatial filterings being associated with a respective input spatial direction from which incident signals on a radio channel are accepted and with a respective output spatial direction into which the incident signals are transmitted by the first CED and the second CED, respectively, wherein the first CED is configurable for applying a first delay to the incident signals; wherein the second CED is configurable for applying a second delay to the incident signals, wherein the method comprises providing, to the first CED, a message indicative of the first delay which is to be applied to the incident signals, providing, to the second CED, a message indicative of the second delay which is to be applied to the incident signals, wherein a difference between the first delay and the second delay is larger than a sampling period of the first CN and/or a sampling period of a second CN communicating with the first CN via the first CED and the second CED. Further examples, provide a method of operating a second CN, a method of operating a CED, a first CN, a second CN and a CED.
(FR) Selon un premier aspect, des exemples concernent un procédé de fonctionnement d'un premier nœud de communication (CN) dans lequel le premier CN est configuré pour commander un premier dispositif d'amélioration de la couverture (CED) et un second CED, le premier CED et le second CED étant reconfigurables pour fournir des filtrages spatiaux multiples, chacun des multiples filtrages spatiaux étant associé à une direction spatiale d'entrée respective à partir de laquelle des signaux incidents sur un canal radio sont acceptés et à une direction spatiale de sortie respective dans laquelle les signaux incidents sont transmis par le premier CED et le second CED, respectivement, le premier CED étant configurable pour appliquer un premier retard aux signaux incidents ; le second CED étant configurable pour appliquer un second retard aux signaux incidents, dans lequel le procédé comprend la fourniture, au premier CED, d'un message indiquant le premier retard qui doit être appliqué aux signaux incidents, la fourniture, au second CED, d'un message indiquant le second retard qui doit être appliqué aux signaux incidents, une différence entre le premier retard et le second retard étant supérieure à une période d'échantillonnage du premier CN et/ou à une période d'échantillonnage d'un second CN communiquant avec le premier CN via le premier CED et le second CED. D'autres exemples concernent un procédé de fonctionnement d'un second CN, un procédé de fonctionnement d'un CED, un premier CN, un second CN et un CED.
