Abstract
(EN) Timing advance (TA) handling for sidelink (SL)-assisted positioning of a first user equipment (UE), comprises determining the first UE is configured to transmit an SL positioning reference signal (SL-PRS) to a second UE for the SL-assisted positioning. A guard period length can be determined based on a configuration of the first UE for transmitting the SL-PRS, where the guard period may comprise a period of time during which the SL-PRS is transmitted by the first UE. A message can be sent to a serving transmission reception point (TRP) of the first UE, where the message indicates the guard period and comprises a TA-related request. The TA-related request includes a request to postpone applying a TA command received by the first UE until after the guard period, or a request for the serving TRP not to send a TA command to the first UE during the guard period.
(FR) L'invention concerne la gestion d'avance temporelle (TA) pour un positionnement assisté par liaison latérale (SL) d'un premier équipement utilisateur (UE), consistant à déterminer que le premier UE est configuré pour transmettre un signal de référence de positionnement SL (SL-PRS) à un second UE pour le positionnement assisté par SL. Une longueur de période de garde peut être déterminée sur la base d'une configuration du premier UE pour transmettre le SL-PRS, la période de garde pouvant comprendre une période au cours de laquelle le SL-PRS est transmis par le premier UE. Un message peut être envoyé à un point d'émission-réception (TRP) de desserte du premier UE, le message indiquant la période de garde et comprenant une demande associée à la TA.
