Abstract
(EN) A system and method enabling the automated installation and configuration of satellite system premises device. The system and method utilize stored information indicative of the types of viable interfaces that a premises device should be adapted to mate with, to intelligently recognize a particular subset of satellite system signals, and then responsively configure and install a premises device.
(FR) Système et procédé permettant l'installation et la configuration automatisées d'un dispositif local d'un système satellite. Le système et le procédé utilisent des informations stockées indiquant les types d'interfaces viables auxquelles un dispositif local doit s'adapter pour s'y apparier, pour reconnaître de manière intelligente un sous-ensemble particulier de signaux de système satellite, puis configurer et installer en réponse un dispositif local.
