Abstract
(EN) One embodiment of the present invention provides an information processing system. This information processing system has a storage unit, a determination unit, and a control unit. The storage unit stores an approximation level related to a calculation. The approximation level can be changed during execution of the calculation. During the execution of the calculation, the determination unit determines whether to carry out a first process or a second process according to a probability determined on the basis of the approximation level stored in the storage unit. The second process is an approximation process of the first process. The control unit carries out control so as to carry out the process determined by the determination unit.
(FR) Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne un système de traitement d'informations. Ce système de traitement d'informations comporte une unité de stockage, une unité de détermination et une unité de commande. L'unité de stockage mémorise un niveau d'approximation associé à un calcul. On peut modifier le niveau d'approximation pendant l'exécution du calcul. Pendant l'exécution du calcul, l'unité de détermination détermine s'il faut effectuer un premier processus ou un second processus, selon une probabilité déterminée d'après le niveau d'approximation mémorisé dans l'unité de stockage. Le second processus est un processus d'approximation du premier processus. L'unité de commande effectue une commande afin d'exécuter le processus déterminé par l'unité de détermination.
(JA) 本発明の一態様によれば、情報処理システムが提供される。この情報処理システムは、記憶部と、決定部と、制御部と、を有する。記憶部は、計算に関する近似レベルを記憶する。近似レベルは、計算の実行中に変更可能である。決定部は、記憶部に記憶されている近似レベルに基づいて決定される確率で第1の処理を行うか、第2の処理を行うかを計算の実行中に決定する。第2の処理は、第1の処理の近似処理である。制御部は、決定部によって決定された処理が行われるよう制御する。
