Title
(EN) ANTIBODIES BROADLY TARGETING CORONAVIRUSES AND USES THEREOF
(FR) ANTICORPS CIBLANT SUR UN LARGE SPECTRE DES CORONAVIRUS ET LEURS UTILISATIONS
Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to antibodies, and antigen binding fragments thereof, that bind to the spike (S) protein of coronaviruses. The antibodies, and antigen binding fragments thereof, broadly target coronaviruses, including different alpha- and betacoronaviruses. The invention also relates to nucleic acids that encode, and to cells that express such antibodies and antibody fragments. In addition, the invention relates to the use of the antibodies and antibody fragments in the treatment and diagnosis of coronavirus infection. Furthermore, a recombinant peptide, polypeptide or protein comprising the epitope, to which the antibodies bind to, is provided, which may be useful in vaccination.
