Abstract
(EN) According to various aspects a detection system (100) may include: a detector (102, 201) configured to provide a received signal (104, 202); and a processing circuit (106, 250) configured to: provide quantized signals (108, 204) each being representative of the portions of the received signal (104, 202) in which a signal level is greater than a respective threshold level (206); provide an encoded signal (110, 208) including first and second encoded signal values (110-1, 110-2, 208-1, 208-2) representative of the portions of the received signal (104, 202) in which the signal level becomes greater or less than one of the threshold levels (206), respectively; and perform a time-to-digital conversion of the encoded signal (110, 208) to provide a digitized signal including first digitized values (112-1, 214-1) associated with the first encoded signal values (110-1, 208-1),and second digitized values (112-2, 214-2) associated with the second encoded signal values (110-2, 208-2).
(FR) Selon divers aspects, un système de détection (100) peut comprendre : un détecteur (102, 201) configuré pour fournir un signal reçu (104, 202) ; et un circuit de traitement (106, 250) configuré pour : fournir des signaux quantifiés (108, 204) chacun étant représentatif des parties du signal reçu (104, 202) dans lequel un niveau de signal est supérieur à un niveau de seuil respectif (206) ; fournir un signal codé (110, 208) comprenant des première et seconde valeurs de signal codé (110-1, 110-2, 208-1, 208-2) représentatives des parties du signal reçu (104, 202) dans lequel le niveau de signal devient supérieur ou inférieur à l'un des niveaux de seuil (206), respectivement ; et effectuer une conversion temps-numérique du signal codé (110, 208) pour fournir un signal numérisé comprenant des premières valeurs numérisées (112-1 214-1) associées aux premières valeurs de signal codé (110-1 208-1), et des secondes valeurs numérisées (1122, 214-2) associées aux secondes valeurs de signal codé (1102, 208-2).
