Abstract
(EN) A process to separate lignin from a lignocellulosic feedstock, said process comprising the steps of: - providing said lignocellulosic feedstock; - providing a composition comprising; - an acid; - a modifying agent selected from the group consisting of: sulfamic acid; imidazole; imidazole derivatives; taurine; a taurine derivative; a taurine-related compound; alkylsulfonic acid; arylsulfonic acid; triethanolamine; and combinations thereof; - a peroxide salt; and - a peroxide; - exposing said lignocellulosic feedstock to said composition for a period of time sufficient to depolymerize substantially all of the lignin present in said lignocellulosic feedstock into lignin oligomers and lignin monomers; wherein said process is carried out at atmospheric pressure.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de séparation de la lignine à partir d'une charge d'alimentation lignocellulosique, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : la fourniture de ladite charge lignocellulosique ; la fourniture d'une composition comprenant : un acide ; un agent modificateur choisi dans le groupe constitué par l'acide sulfamique, l'imidazole, les dérivés de l'imidazole, la taurine, un dérivé de la taurine, un composé apparenté à la taurine, l'acide alkylsulfonique, l'acide arylsulfonique, la triéthanolamine et leurs combinaisons ; un sel de peroxyde ; et un peroxyde ; l'exposition de ladite charge lignocellulosique à ladite composition pendant une période suffisante pour dépolymériser sensiblement toute la lignine présente dans ladite charge lignocellulosique en oligomères de lignine et monomères de lignine ; ledit procédé étant réalisé à la pression atmosphérique.
