Abstract
(EN) A vehicle brushless alternator assembly comprising a claw pole rotor assembly having a pair of opposing pole pieces with plurality of circumferentially spaced pole fingers extending axially, the pole fingers of the rotor alternating between north and south magnetic polarities upon energization of a field coil positioned relative to said rotor; a cylindrical stator arranged coaxially relative to the drive shaft and comprising armature enveloping the magnetic claw poles; the field coil comprising at least a first field winding electrically connected with at least a second field winding by a switching arrangement such that in a first operable configuration the switching arrangement operates to electrically connect the first and second field windings in series during energization and; in a second operable configuration the switching arrangement operates to electrically connect the first and second field windings in parallel during energization.
(FR) Ensemble alternateur sans balai de véhicule comprenant un ensemble rotor à pôles à griffes ayant une paire de pièces polaires opposées comportant une pluralité de doigts polaires espacés de manière circonférentielle s'étendant axialement, les doigts polaires du rotor alternant entre des polarités magnétiques nord et sud lors de l'excitation d'une bobine inductrice positionnée par rapport audit rotor ; un stator cylindrique disposé de manière coaxiale par rapport à l'arbre de transmission et comprenant une armature enveloppant les pôles à griffes magnétiques ; la bobine inductrice comprenant au moins un premier enroulement de champ électriquement connecté à au moins un second enroulement de champ par un agencement de commutation de sorte que, dans une première configuration fonctionnelle, l'agencement de commutation serve à connecter électriquement les premier et second enroulements de champ en série pendant l'excitation et, dans une seconde configuration fonctionnelle, l'agencement de commutation serve à connecter électriquement les premier et second enroulements de champ en parallèle pendant l'excitation.
