Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a forging machine for hot forging of asymmetric to symmetric rail and process of hot forging of asymmetric to symmetric rail, which is used by railways. Owing to the great difference in shape between the initial and the final product, it is impossible to hot forge the rail in a single stage of operation, thus it involves multiple stages. The asymmetric to symmetric rail forging press has rigid frames consisting of a top frame (3) and bottom frame (17) connected by four tie rods with nuts (2). The top frame (3) is fitted with top cylinder (1) with piston rod (4) for downward vertical stroke, whereas the third stage forging top die housing (5) has two positions for progressive forging of the rail (10) foot. Further, the rail forging press has two side cylinders (7) mounted on suitable frames to provide horizontal force on the rail from both sides. The side cylinders (7) are fitted with suitable dies (18) for second stage forging of the rail. A hydraulically operated clamp (13, 14 & 15) is provided at the end to restrict any sidewise bending of the rail. An additional forging station with the main press structure frame two add-on dies (22) for progressive forging and additional induction heater (8) for heating the rail is mounted on a movable stand (9) operated by hydraulic cylinder.
(FR) L'invention concerne une machine de forgeage pour forgeage à chaud de rail asymétrique à symétrique, ainsi qu'un procédé de forgeage à chaud de rail asymétrique à symétrique, utilisé dans les chemins de fer. Du fait de la grande différence de forme entre le produit initial et le produit final, il est impossible de forger à chaud le rail en une seule étape de fonctionnement, nécessitant ainsi plusieurs étapes. La presse de forgeage de rail asymétrique à symétrique comprend des cadres rigides constitués d'un cadre supérieur (3) et d'un cadre inférieur (17) reliés par tirants avec des écrous (2). Le cadre supérieur (3) est pourvu d'un cylindre supérieur (1) avec une tige de piston (4) pour une course verticale vers le bas, tandis que le logement de matrice supérieure (5) de troisième étape de forgeage comporte deux positions pour le forgeage progressif du pied de rail (10). En outre, la presse de forgeage de rail comprend deux cylindres latéraux (7) montés sur des cadres appropriés pour fournir une force horizontale sur le rail à partir des deux côtés. Les cylindres latéraux (7) sont pourvus de matrices (18) appropriées pour la deuxième étape de forgeage du rail. Une pince à commande hydraulique (13, 14 et 15) est disposée à l'extrémité afin de limiter toute flexion latérale du rail. Une station de forgeage supplémentaire avec la structure de presse principale comprend deux matrices supplémentaires (22) pour un forgeage progressif, et un dispositif de chauffage par induction supplémentaire (8) destiné à chauffer le rail est monté sur un socle mobile (9) actionné par un vérin hydraulique.
