(EN) LOW FRICTION INFRARED-EMITTING FIBER AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
(FR) FIBRE ÉMETTANT DANS L'INFRAROUGE À FAIBLE COEFFICIENT DE FROTTEMENT ET SES PROCÉDÉS DE FABRICATION
Abstract
(EN) Infrared-emitting fiber composed of a polymer and having an emissivity of greater than or equal to 0.88 and a low coefficient of friction for making an article of apparel. In some embodiments, the polymer can have an emissivity of greater than or equal to 0.88. In some embodiments, the infrared-emitting fiber can include particles attached to the polymer and formed of a material comprising a kinetic coefficient of friction ranging from 0.1 to 0.7.
