Abstract
(EN) Provided is a fluid-filled vibration damping device that has a novel structure and is capable of effectively suppressing cavitation. An outer peripheral end of a movable film 68 comprises an abutting section 70 that partially abuts, in a peripheral direction, a wall inner surface 55 on the pressure receiving chamber 84 side of an accommodation space 66, and a seal section 72 that abuts the entire periphery of a wall inner surface 65 on the balance chamber 86 side of the accommodation space 66. The outer peripheral end of the movable film 68 is supported by a partition member 40. A gap 80 is provided between the outer peripheral surface of the movable film 68 and the inner peripheral surface of the accommodation space 66, which oppose each other, and a communication path 82 in communication with the gap 80 is provided at a position deviated from the abutting section 70 toward the wall inner surface 55 of the accommodation space 66 at the outer peripheral end of the movable film 68. The outer peripheral end of the movable film 68 is separated from the wall inner surface 65 of the accommodation space 66 due to the pressure difference between the pressure receiving chamber 84 and the balance chamber 86, whereby a relief passage 94 in communication with the pressure receiving chamber 84 and the balance chamber 86 is formed so as to include the gap 80 and the communication path 82.
