Abstract
(EN) Method of delignification of plant material, said method comprising: providing said plant material comprising cellulose fibres and lignin; exposing said plant material requiring to a composition comprising: - an acid; - a capping agent; and - a peroxide; for a period of time sufficient to remove substantially all (at least 80%) of the lignin present on said plant material. Also disclosed are compositions to accomplish such delignification and processes using such.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de délignification de matière végétale, ledit procédé consistant à : fournir ladite matière végétale comprenant des fibres de cellulose et de la lignine ; exposer ladite matière végétale à une composition comprenant : un acide ; un agent de coiffage ; et un peroxyde ; pendant une durée suffisante pour éliminer sensiblement tout (au moins 80 %) de la lignine présente sur ladite matière végétale. L'invention concerne également des compositions pour réaliser une telle délignification et des procédés utilisant de telles compositions.
