Abstract
(EN) The device presented in this patent application is a solid state "thermoelectric device", which receives energy from an external heat source by direct contact or by radiation (input), and uses part of that thermal energy to generate electrical energy by radiation (output). This can be used to compose a thermoelectric generator, and / or as a "thermo electronic regulator" in an electronic circuit. Transducers with the same structure and that operate in a similar way, that is, they receive energy from an external source of electromagnetic radiation, or by direct contact with a heat source and transform it by radiation into electrical energy, they are the elements that make up the photovoltaic cells (photoelectric effect) and thermionic generators (thermionic effect). On the other hand, electronic devices that regulate the flow of current in a certain circuit such as transistors and some type of diode in particular, are composed of materials that interact with each other in a similar way to those used by this thermoelectric device, but are generally powered by electrical energy.
(FR) La présente demande de brevet concerne un dispositif qui est un « dispositif thermoélectrique » à semi-conducteurs, lequel reçoit de l’énergie d’une source de chaleur externe par contact direct ou par rayonnement (entrée), et utilise une partie de cette énergie thermique pour générer de l’énergie électrique par rayonnement (sortie). Cela peut servir à composer un générateur thermoélectrique, et/ou en tant que « régulateur thermoélectronique » dans un circuit électronique. Des transducteurs de même structure et fonctionnant de manière similaire, c’est-à-dire, qui reçoivent de l’énergie d’une source externe de rayonnement électromagnétique, ou par contact direct avec une source de chaleur et la transforment par rayonnement en énergie électrique, sont les éléments qui constituent les piles photovoltaïques (effet photoélectrique) et les générateurs thermo-ioniques (effet thermo-ionique). D’autre part, des dispositifs électroniques qui régulent le flux de courant dans un certain circuit comme des transistors et des types de diodes en particulier, sont composés de matériaux qui interagissent entre eux de manière similaire à ceux du présent dispositif thermoélectrique, mais sont généralement alimentés par énergie électrique.
