Abstract
(EN) A video laryngoscope for managing the airway in an individual in need thereof, comprising: a substantially curved handle. The handle comprises an internal cavity which is open along its entire length on one of its sides and has a cap on the opposite side. Said cavity houses a blade of the video laryngoscope when it is folded over the handle, which is rotatably mounted to rotate 180° about the axis of symmetry of the handle by means of a pivot axis of a movable blade support that houses an automatic locking mechanism. The movable blade is connected to the support by means of a longitudinal slide and runs on the slide activating a lock of an extension-retraction mechanism. A monitor chassis is mounted at the proximal end of the handle that includes a TFT-LCD screen covered by a protective plate, the screen being connected to a printed circuit board comprising a plurality of image-adjustment controls and an on/off switch, connected respectively to four push-buttons sticking out through the monitor chassis. The board comprises a microprocessor with a video output port and a power source, the chassis comprises on the back of the monitor a housing for the articulated parts through a rotary coupling on a hollow axis with the handle of the laryngoscope; and the monitor is connected through the printed circuit board to a camera equipped with its own light arranged below the movable blade support.
(FR) Un laryngoscope vidéo destiné à gérer les voies respiratoires chez un individu qui en a besoin, comprend : un manche sensiblement incurvé. Le manche comprend une cavité interne qui est ouverte sur toute sa longueur sur l'un de ses côtés et possède un capuchon sur le côté opposé. Ladite cavité loge une lame du laryngoscope vidéo, lorsqu'elle est repliée sur le manche, qui est montée rotative pour tourner sur 180° autour de l'axe de symétrie du manche au moyen d'un axe pivot d'un porte-lame mobile qui loge un mécanisme de verrouillage automatique. La lame mobile est reliée au porte-lame au moyen d'une glissière longitudinale et s'étend sur la glissière activant un élément de blocage d'un mécanisme d'extension-rétraction. Un châssis de moniteur, qui est monté sur l'extrémité proximale du manche, comprend un écran TFT-LCD recouvert d'une plaque de protection, l'écran étant connecté à une carte de circuit imprimé comprenant une pluralité de commandes de réglage d'image et un commutateur marche/arrêt, connectés respectivement à quatre boutons-poussoirs sortant du châssis de moniteur. La carte comprend un microprocesseur ayant un port de sortie vidéo et une source d'alimentation, le châssis comprend à l'arrière du moniteur un logement destiné aux parties articulées par l'intermédiaire d'un raccord rotatif, sur un axe creux, avec le manche du laryngoscope ; le moniteur est connecté par la carte de circuit imprimé à une caméra équipée de sa propre lumière disposée au-dessous du porte-lame mobile.
