Abstract
(EN) The present invention allows a rapid and early diagnosis of bacterial or viral infection. Such a diagnosis is highly desired among patients admitted in emergency department to allow the initiation of the appropriate treatment. Although no biomarker alone can offer an appropriate diagnosis with sufficient sensitivity and specificity, the present invention defines optimal combinations of biomarkers allowing the diagnosis of infection.
