Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to new synthetically generated carboxysome shells, shells encapsulating selected catalytically active enzymes, cells including the shells and methods of making the shells and methods of encapsulation. The invention also includes uses of the cells as nanoreactors for enhanced catalytic performance of the encapsulated enzymes and the use of an encapsulation protein for recruiting external cargo proteins into a synthetic carboxysome shell.
(FR) La présente invention concerne de nouvelles enveloppes de carboxysome générées de manière synthétique, des enveloppes encapsulant des enzymes catalytiquement actives sélectionnées, des cellules comprenant les enveloppes et des procédés de fabrication des enveloppes et des procédés d'encapsulation. L'invention concerne également des utilisations des cellules en tant que nanoréacteurs afin d’améliorer les performances catalytiques des enzymes encapsulées et l'utilisation d'une protéine d'encapsulation pour recruter des protéines cargo externes dans une enveloppe de carboxysome synthétique.
