Abstract
(EN) The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method (30) for processing a seismic image comprising seismic values obtained from seismic measurements performed on a geological formation, characterized in that said method comprises: - (S30) determining a seismic dip image based on the seismic image, said seismic dip image comprising local seismic dips representative of the local gradient of the seismic values of the seismic image; - (S31) initializing a seismic horizon surface modeled by using spline functions or by using a triangle mesh; - (S32) iteratively modifying the seismic horizon surface to progressively increase alignment between local orientations of the seismic horizon surface and the corresponding local seismic dips, until a predetermined stop criterion is satisfied.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé mis en oeuvre par ordinateur (30), destiné à traiter une image sismique comprenant des valeurs sismiques obtenues à partir de mesures sismiques réalisées sur une formation géologique, ledit procédé se caractérisant en ce qu'il consiste : - (S30) à déterminer une image de pendages sismiques en fonction de l'image sismique, ladite image de pendages sismiques comprenant des pendages sismiques locaux représentatifs du gradient local des valeurs sismiques de l'image sismique ; - (S31) à initialiser une surface d'horizon sismique modélisée au moyen de fonctions splines ou d'un maillage triangulaire ; - (S32) à modifier de façon itérative la surface d'horizon sismique afin d'augmenter progressivement l'alignement entre des orientations locales de la surface d'horizon sismique et les pendages sismiques locaux correspondants, jusqu'à ce qu'un critère d'arrêt prédéterminé soit respecté.
