Abstract
(EN) An ostomy Appliance (10) including first and second walls (12, 14) connected to each other at or near their peripheries, a stoma-receiving opening (16), a collecting cavity (18) defined between the first and second walls wherein the stoma-receiving opening is fluidly connected to the collecting cavity, a connection member (20) connected to the first wall for attaching the appliance directly or indirectly to a user, a gas vent (8) for venting gas from the collecting cavity to atmosphere, a filter (9) positioned over the gas vent, said filter defining a first discrete area, a third wall (30), wherein the second wall includes a first surface (34) and the third wall includes a second surface (56), wherein the first and second surfaces face each other and are connected at a connection (60), and wherein the connection defines a second discrete area.
(FR) Accessoire de stomie comprenant : des première et deuxième parois reliées l'une à l'autre au niveau ou à proximité de leur périphérie ; une ouverture de réception de stomie pour la réception d'une stomie ; une cavité de collecte définie entre les première et seconde parois, l'ouverture de réception de stomie étant en communication fluidique avec la cavité de collecte ; un élément de raccordement relié à la première paroi permettant de fixer l'accessoire sur un utilisateur ou d'attacher l'accessoire à une bride de fixation de l'accessoire sur l'utilisateur ; un évent de gaz destiné à évacuer du gaz, de la cavité de collecte vers l'atmosphère ; un filtre positionné au-dessus de l'évent de gaz, ledit filtre définissant une première zone discrète ; une troisième paroi éventuellement reliée à la première et/ou à la deuxième paroi, au niveau ou à proximité de sa périphérie ; la deuxième paroi comprenant une première surface et la troisième paroi comprenant une deuxième surface ; les première et deuxième surfaces se faisant face et étant reliées au niveau d'une liaison ; et la liaison définissant une seconde zone discrète.
