Abstract
(EN) The present invention is directed to a novel isolated bacterial strain of the Streptococcus salivahus (S. salivahus) species. More in particular, a strain of the S. salivahus species deposited at BCCM under accession number LMG P-31813. Further, the present invention relates to a composition comprising an isolated bacterial strain of the S. salivahus species. In another aspect, the present invention further relates to the isolated bacterial strain according to the present invention or the composition according to the present invention for use in immunomodulation and/or in the treatment and/or prevention of infections or diseases.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une nouvelle souche bactérienne isolée de l’espèce Streptococcus salivarius (S. salivarius). Plus précisément, il s'agit d’une souche de l’espèce S. salivarius déposée auprès de la BCCM sous le numéro d’enregistrement LMG P-31813. La présente invention concerne en outre une composition comprenant une souche bactérienne isolée de l'espèce S. salivarius. Dans un autre aspect, la présente invention concerne en outre la souche bactérienne isolée selon la présente invention ou la composition selon la présente invention destinée à être utilisée dans l'immunomodulation et/ou dans le traitement et/ou la prévention d'infections ou de maladies.
