Abstract
(EN) A battery protecting device intended to provide users with a device that can protect batteries of power tools from a fall or other physical impacts. In order to accomplish that, the device includes a protective covering that has multiple layers. More specifically, the device gives the battery a cushioning effect and protection from an impact, such that even if the battery is dropped or overused, it will not result in cracking and/or battery failure. The device further includes a plurality of openings that enables users to perform the normal operations on a battery, such as providing access to the ports/ switches, observe readings or warnings that may appear on the battery etc. Furthermore, the device includes at least one fastener to securely encompass the protective casing around the battery. Thus, the battery protector is an efficient, user friendly and protective addition to any power tool that utilizes a battery pack.
(FR) Dispositif de protection de batterie destiné à fournir aux utilisateurs un dispositif qui peut protéger des batteries d'outils électriques contre une chute ou d'autres impacts physiques. Pour ce faire, le dispositif comprend un revêtement de protection qui présente de multiples couches. Plus particulièrement, le dispositif offre à la batterie un effet d'amortissement et une protection contre un impact, de telle sorte que même si la batterie est abandonnée ou surutilisée, cela ne conduira pas à la fissuration et/ou à la défaillance de la batterie. Le dispositif comprend en outre une pluralité d'ouvertures qui permettent aux utilisateurs d'effectuer les opérations normales sur une batterie, de manière à fournir un accès aux ports/commutateurs, à observer des lectures ou des avertissements qui peuvent apparaître sur la batterie etc. En outre, le dispositif comprend au moins un élément de fixation permettant d'entourer de manière sécurisée le boîtier de protection autour de la batterie. Ainsi, le protecteur de batterie est un ajout efficace, facile à utiliser et sécurisé à n'importe quel outil électrique qui utilise un bloc-batterie.
