Abstract
(EN) A device containing a retaining mechanism comprising: a resiliently biased latch member adapted for motion between at least three positions; a fusible retaining member having at least one engagement surface configured to engage with and act as a stop to the motion of the latch member between two of said positions; and a heating member positioned adjacent to the retaining member; wherein one motion of the latch member between said positions causes it to engage with the fusible retaining member and stop said motion, and activation of the heating member affects at least a portion of the fusible retaining member causing it to soften, melt, weaken or break allowing the latch member to move so as to release the latch member for a further motion between said positions
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif contenant un mécanisme de retenue et comprenant : un élément de verrouillage sollicité de manière élastique conçu pour se déplacer entre au moins trois positions ; un élément de retenue fusible ayant au moins une surface de mise en prise configurée pour venir en prise avec lui et agir comme une butée au mouvement de l'élément de verrouillage entre deux desdites positions ; et un élément chauffant positionné de manière adjacente à l'élément de retenue. Un mouvement de l'élément de verrouillage entre lesdites positions l’amène à venir en prise avec l'élément de retenue fusible et à arrêter ledit mouvement, et l'activation de l'élément chauffant affecte au moins une partie de l'élément de retenue fusible l'amenant à se ramollir, à fondre, à s'affaiblir ou à rompre afin de permettre à l'élément de verrouillage de se déplacer de façon à libérer l'élément de verrouillage pour un mouvement supplémentaire entre lesdites positions
