Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a battery module (300) having means (332, 335) to prevent gases expelled by a venting cell from damaging the other cells within the module. Advantageously, the battery module may have improved packaging efficiency as compared to known battery modules having similar protection against vent gases expelled from cells within the module.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un module de batterie (300) comprenant des moyens (332, 335) pour empêcher les gaz expulsés par une cellule de ventilation, d'endommager les autres cellules à l'intérieur du module. De manière avantageuse, le module de batterie peut présenter une efficacité d'encapsulation améliorée par comparaison avec des modules de batterie connus comprenant une protection similaire contre les gaz de ventilation expulsés à partir des cellules à l'intérieur du module.
