Abstract
(EN) An aspect of the invention relates to a method of reinforcing a tubular wind turbine structure using a radially adjustable ring stiffener. The ring stiffener comprises a pair of adjacent ring segments coupled together by a coupling means configured to permit radial adjustment of the ring stiffener by varying an intersegmental separation between adjacent ends of those ring segments. The method comprises: positioning the ring stiffener at a reinforcement position within the tubular wind turbine structure; and adjusting the intersegmental separation between the pair of adjacent ring segments to increase the radius of the ring stiffener; and thereby to engage an inner surface of the tubular wind turbine structure with a radial force that holds the ring stiffener at the reinforcement position by means of friction between the ring stiffener and the tubular wind turbine structure.
(FR) Un aspect de l'invention concerne un procédé de renforcement d'une structure d'éolienne tubulaire à l'aide d'un raidisseur annulaire à réglage radial. Le raidisseur annulaire comprend une paire de segments annulaires adjacents couplés ensemble par un moyen de couplage configuré pour permettre un ajustement radial du raidisseur annulaire en faisant varier une séparation inter-segmentaire entre les extrémités adjacentes de ces segments annulaires. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : positionner le raidisseur annulaire à une position de renfort à l'intérieur de la structure d'éolienne tubulaire ; et ajuster la séparation inter-segmentaire entre la paire de segments annulaires adjacents pour augmenter le rayon du raidisseur annulaire ; et ainsi venir en prise avec une surface interne de la structure d'éolienne tubulaire avec une force radiale qui maintient le raidisseur annulaire au niveau de la position de renforcement par frottement entre ledit raidisseur annulaire et la structure d'éolienne tubulaire.
