Abstract
(EN) This display device comprises: a plurality of scan lines; a plurality of data lines; a plurality of light emission control lines; a plurality of pixel circuits, each of which includes a light-emitting element; a scan line drive circuit for driving the scan lines on the basis of a first clock signal; a data line drive circuit for driving the data lines; a light emission control line drive circuit for driving the light emission control lines on the basis of a second clock signal; and a display control circuit for outputting at least the first and second clock signals. The display control circuit classifies a frame period into a scan period and a pause period, and, in the pause period, causes the first clock signal to be stopped and the frequency of the second clock signal to be lowered below the scan period. The electric power consumption of a display device that carries out low-frequency driving is thereby further reduced.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage qui comprend : une pluralité de lignes de balayage ; une pluralité de lignes de données ; une pluralité de lignes de commande d'émission de lumière ; une pluralité de circuits de pixels dont chacun comprend un élément électroluminescent ; un circuit d'attaque de ligne de balayage servant à attaquer les lignes de balayage sur la base d'un premier signal d'horloge ; un circuit d'attaque de ligne de données servant à attaquer les lignes de données ; un circuit d'attaque de ligne de commande d'émission de lumière servant à attaquer les lignes de commande d'émission de lumière sur la base d'un second signal d'horloge ; et un circuit de commande d'affichage servant à émettre au moins les premier et second signaux d'horloge. Le circuit de commande d'affichage classifie une période de trame en une période de balayage et une période de pause, et, dans la période de pause, il amène le premier signal d'horloge à être interrompu et la fréquence du second signal d'horloge à être abaissée au-dessous de la période de balayage. La consommation électrique d'un dispositif d'affichage qui effectue une attaque à basse fréquence est ainsi davantage réduite.
