Abstract
(EN) A method and system are disclosed for determining a trailer angle between a vehicle and a trailer attached to a the vehicle. The method includes receiving camera data from a camera supported by a rear portion of the vehicle, left radar data from a left short-range radar supported by a left rear portion of the vehicle, and right radar data from a right short-range radar supported by a right rear portion of the vehicle. A trailer angle is estimated based on the camera data, the left radar data, and the right radar data. The estimated trailer angle is sent to one or more vehicle systems associated with the vehicle.
(FR) Sont divulgués un procédé et un système permettant de déterminer un angle de remorque entre un véhicule et une remorque fixée à un véhicule. Le procédé consiste à recevoir des données de caméra en provenance d'une caméra soutenue par une partie arrière du véhicule, des données radar gauche provenant d'un radar à courte portée gauche soutenu par une partie arrière gauche du véhicule, et des données radar droite provenant d'un radar à courte portée droite soutenu par une partie arrière droite du véhicule. Un angle de remorque est estimé en fonction des données de caméra, des données radar gauche et des données radar droite. L'angle de remorque estimé est envoyé à un ou plusieurs systèmes de véhicule associés au véhicule.
