Abstract
(EN) An optcal system comprising: (i) a light source, (ii) at least one polarization controller situated downstream of the light source and comprising: an optical fiber and a carrier surrounding the optical fiber, the carrier comprising an off-center through hole with at least one collapsed region, such that the optical fiber is situated within the through hole and contacts the at least one collapsed region of the through hole, (iii) at least one optical fiber coupled to the polarization controller; and (iv) at least one optical detector situated downstream of the at least one optical fiber.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système optique comprenant : (I) une source de lumière, (ii) au moins un dispositif de commande de polarisation situé en aval de la source de lumière et comprenant : une fibre optique et un support entourant la fibre optique, le support comprenant un trou traversant décentré ayant au moins une région repliée, de telle sorte que la fibre optique est située à l'intérieur du trou traversant et entre en contact avec la ou les régions repliées du trou traversant, (iii) au moins une fibre optique couplée au dispositif de commande de polarisation ; et (iv) au moins un détecteur optique situé en aval de la ou des fibres optiques.
