Abstract
(EN) The present invention performs appropriate correction processing against a temporal change in density unevenness to suppress a deterioration in image quality and a reduction in productivity. Therefore, this image processing device for generating image data for recording in a recording device having a recording means including a plurality of nozzles that eject ink has: a retention means for retaining characteristics information corresponding to characteristics of the respective nozzles of the recording means; a conversion means for converting, on the basis of the characteristics information, image data corresponding to an input print job into image data to be recorded by the recording means; and a control means for performing any of a plurality of correction processing on the basis of image data obtained by reading an image recorded by the recording means. Here, the plurality of correction processing include first correction processing performed in a state in which recording of an image corresponding to the print job is stopped and second correction processing performed in a state in which the recording of the image corresponding to the print job is not stopped.
