Abstract
(EN) In one aspect there is disclosed a method of improving shot repeatability in a multilayer reciprocating screw injection molding apparatus by preventing pressure communication or "cross-talk" between melt channels. In the first aspect an outlet nozzle valve is closed prior to closing a check valve within an injection unit of the multilayer reciprocating screw injection molding apparatus. In another aspect there is disclosed a method of improving shot repeatability in a reciprocating screw injection molding apparatus by recording a first position of a screw within the barrel of an injection unit of a reciprocating screw injection molding apparatus, the first position corresponding to a volume of melt within the barrel of the material injection unit. A second position of the screw is then calculated based on the first position, the second position corresponding to a transition position of the screw within the barrel of the injection unit of the reciprocating screw injection molding apparatus.
(FR) Selon un aspect, la divulgation concerne un procédé d'amélioration de la répétabilité de la charge d'injection dans un appareil de moulage par injection à vis-piston multicouche en empêchant une communication de pression ou une « interférence » entre des canaux de matière fondue. Selon le premier aspect, une vanne de buse de sortie est fermée avant la fermeture d'un clapet antiretour à l'intérieur d'une unité d'injection de l'appareil de moulage par injection à vis-piston multicouche. Selon un autre aspect, la divulgation concerne un procédé d'amélioration de la répétabilité de la charge d'injection dans un appareil de moulage par injection à vis-piston par l'enregistrement d'une première position d'une vis à l'intérieur du corps d'une unité d'injection d'un appareil de moulage par injection à vis-piston, la première position correspondant à un volume de matière fondue à l'intérieur du corps de l'unité d'injection de matière. Une seconde position de la vis est ensuite calculée sur la base de la première position, la seconde position correspondant à une position de transition de la vis à l'intérieur du corps de l'unité d'injection de l'appareil de moulage par injection à vis-piston.
