Abstract
(EN) A replaceable monolithic protected lithium cassette (PLC) anode for all solid-state lithium secondary cells (batteries), Li-air primary and secondary batteries and any other Lithium-based energy storage systems. The PLC anode (500) comprises a lithium ion conducting solid electrolyte substrate (501a), an ionically conducting buffer layer (502a) deposited on the substrate, a layer of metallic lithium (Li) deposited on the buffer layer (503a), and a protective metallic layer (504a) deposited in an enveloping manner covering the metallic Li layer (503a), the buffer layer (502a), and the top surface of the substrate (501a). The PLC anode prevents Li dendrite penetration; is stable in air and water, exhibits excellent heat resistance; can be utilized in aqueous and non-aqueous electrolytes for Li-air semi fuel cells; and the anode being replaceable allows continuous operation of cells. A process for fabrication of the PLC anode is also provided.
(FR) L'invention concerne une anode de cassette de lithium protégée monolithique remplaçable (PLC) pour tout les accumulateurs au lithium entièrement solides (batteries), les batteries primaire et secondaire au Li-air et tout autre systèmes de stockage d'énergie à base de lithium. L'anode PLC (500) comprend un substrat d'électrolyte solide conducteur d'ions lithium (501a), une couche tampon conductrice d'ions (502a) déposée sur le substrat, une couche de lithium métallique (Li) déposée sur la couche tampon (503a), et une couche métallique de protection (504a) déposée de manière enveloppante recouvrant la couche de Li métallique (503a), la couche tampon (502a) et la surface supérieure du substrat (501a). L'anode PLC empêche la pénétration de dendrites de Li ; est stable dans l'air et l'eau, présente une excellente résistance à la chaleur ; peut être utilisée dans des électrolytes aqueux et non aqueux pour des piles à semi-combustible Li-air ; et l'anode pouvant être remplacée permet un fonctionnement continu de cellules. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de l'anode PLC.
