Abstract
(EN) A substrate for a display article is described herein that includes (a) a primary surface; and (b) a textured region on at least a portion of the primary surface; the textured region comprising: (i) primary surface features, each comprising a perimeter parallel to a base-plane extending through the substrate disposed below the textured region, wherein the perimeter of each of the primary surface features comprises a longest dimension of at least 5 µm; and (ii) one or more sections each comprising secondary surface features having a surface roughness (Ra) within a range of 5 nm to 100 nm. In some instances, an arrangement of the surface features reflect a random distribution. A method of forming the same is disclosed.
(FR) L'invention concerne un substrat pour un article d'affichage qui comprend (a) une surface primaire ; et (b) une région texturée sur au moins une partie de la surface primaire ; la région texturée comprenant : (i) des caractéristiques de surface primaire, comprenant chacune un périmètre parallèle à un plan de base s'étendant à travers le substrat disposé au-dessous de la région texturée, le périmètre de chacune des caractéristiques de surface primaire comprenant une dimension la plus longue d'au moins 5 µm ; et (ii) une ou plusieurs sections comprenant chacune des caractéristiques de surface secondaires ayant une rugosité de surface (Ra) dans une plage de 5 nm à 100 nm.
