Abstract
(EN) Methods, systems, and devices are provided for wavefront vision correction beyond a spherocylindrical correction. Wavefront customization involves: 1) measuring wave aberration of an individual eye, 2) determining a spherocylindrical correction from the measured wavefront and a deficiency factor for the determined spherocylindrical correction, 3) inducing spherical aberration into eye's central pupil to mitigate residual aberrations beyond the spherocylindrical correction. Wavefront-optimized vision corrections can be applied to contact lenses, implantable contact lenses, intraocular lenses (lOLs), phakic lOLs, and laser vision corrections.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des méthodes, des systèmes et des dispositifs de correction de vision de front d'onde au-delà d'une correction sphéro-cylindrique. La personnalisation de front d'onde fait appel aux étapes consistant à : 1) mesurer l'aberration d'onde d'un œil individuel, 2) déterminer une correction sphéro-cylindrique à partir du front d'onde mesuré et un facteur d'insuffisance de la correction sphéro-cylindrique déterminée, 3) induire une aberration sphérique dans la pupille centrale de l'œil pour atténuer des aberrations résiduelles au-delà de la correction sphéro-cylindrique. Des corrections de vision optimisées par front d'onde peuvent être appliquées à des lentilles de contact, des lentilles de contact implantables, des lentilles intraoculaires (lOL), des lOL phakiques et à des corrections de vision laser.
