Abstract
(EN) Systems of providing pain control include multi-lumen neuromodulation assemblies with one or more catheters, each having proximal end and a distal end. A single-catheter system with integrated multiple lumens may have a first lumen terminating near the distal end of the catheter and a separate second lumen terminating proximally at a point spaced from the distal end of the first lumen. A catheter-in-catheter design utilizes a second catheter extending through and beyond the distal end of a first catheter to provide a lumen terminating at a point distal from the distal end of the first catheter. The proximal end of at least one lumen includes a connector configured to electrically interconnect an electrode at the distal end of that lumen with a nerve stimulator, such as an electrical pulse generator. At least one of the lumens is also configured to receive liquid medications.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes de fourniture de prise en charge de la douleur comprenant des ensembles de neuromodulation à lumières multiples comportant un ou plusieurs cathéters, chacun ayant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale. Un système à cathéter unique à lumières multiples intégrées peut comporter une première lumière se terminant à proximité de l'extrémité distale du cathéter et une seconde lumière séparée se terminant de manière proximale en un point espacé vis-à-vis de l'extrémité distale de la première lumière.
