Abstract
(EN) A method of treating a lost circulation zone in a wellbore includes contacting an accelerant composition comprising triethanolamine with a cement composition in the lost circulation zone, the cement composition comprising at least: from 1 weight percent (wt.%) to 90 wt.% cement precursor based on the total weight of the cement composition; and from 5 wt.% to 70 wt.% water based on the total weight of the cement composition; where a weight ratio of triethanolamine to the cement precursor is from 0.1 percent (%) to 60%; and curing the cement composition in the lost circulation zone to form a cured cement, where the triethanolamine accelerates the curing rate of the cement composition and the cured cement seals the lost circulation zone.
(FR) Un procédé de traitement d'une zone à pertes de circulation dans un puits de forage consiste à mettre en contact une composition d'accélérateur comprenant de la triéthanolamine avec une composition de ciment dans la zone à pertes de circulation, la composition de ciment comprenant au moins : de 1 pour cent en poids (% en poids) à 90 % en poids de précurseur de ciment par rapport au poids total de la composition de ciment ; et de 5 % en poids à 70 % en poids d'eau par rapport au poids total de la composition de ciment ; le rapport pondéral entre la triéthanolamine et le précurseur de ciment variant de 0,1 pour cent (%) à 60 % ; et à faire prendre la composition de ciment dans la zone à pertes de circulation pour former un ciment pris, la triéthanolamine accélérant la vitesse de prise de la composition de ciment et le ciment pris étanchéifiant la zone à pertes de circulation.
